Shane Stephenson.
Head Coach
Biography:
Coach Stephenson comes to Bonneville High after being the Offensive Coordinator at Prescott High. While at Prescott High Coach Stephenson’s offense broke every passing record in school history. His offense averaged 400 Yards and 33 points per game.
Prior to Prescott Coached Stephenson was a passing game coordinator at Millennium High. Coach Stephenson was the head coach at Highland Prep in Surprise, Arizona for the 2020 and 2021 season. In 2020 Coach Stephenson led the Honey Badgers to the CAA 8-man championship game, only to lose to the two time defending champions Heritage Academy Mesa. In 2021 Stephenson led Highland Prep to their first AIA 11-man football season.
Stephenson was an assistant at Carroll College under Troy Purcell. Stephenson coached Defensive line for the Saints and had two athletes earn All-conference honors under his tutelage. In 2007 Coach Stephenson was the Defensive Line Coach for Mayville State University and had one player earn All-Conference honors during that time.
Stephenson was an Offensive line coach for the Helena High (MT) Bengals in 2016 and 2017. In 2017 the Bengals made it to the State Championship, only to lose to Billing Senior (MT). Coach Stephenson also coached Defensive line for Helena High (MT) in 2005 & 2006. In 2009 Coach Stephenson coached for the Jefferson High (MT) Panthers as the Quarterback/ Linebackers Coach. Jefferson High’s Quarterback was an All-State selection during the 2008 season. Coached Stephenson moved to West Fargo, North Dakota in 2011 and began coaching at West Fargo High (ND) for the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Coach Stephenson has eleven years of high school coaching experience.
Coach Stephenson started is coaching in 1994 as an assistant coach for the Helena Small Fry Football. Coach Stephenson coached 8 years for the Helena Small Fry Organization (6 years as a Head coach, and 2 years as an assistant) he also was a youth coach in Surprise, Arizona for the West Valley Spartans for 4 years and 1 with the Prescott Junior Badgers in Prescott, Arizona.
Coach Stephenson played college football at University of Mary (Redshirt) and Mayville State University (3L 2004 Team Captain). Coach Stephenson did walk on to Montana State (Redshirt), but was only on the practice squad in 2000. Stephenson played 6 years of Semi Pro football and won a championship in 2014 he also coached 5 spring seasons of Semi Pro football for the Helena Titans, Helena Guardians, and Fargo Invaders.
Stephenson and his wife, Emily, have three sons, Austin, Kalab and Cooper. Stephenson received a degree in Sports Management/ Exercise Science with a specialization in Pedagogy from Mayville State University in 2007. He obtained a master's degree in business administration – executive from the University of Mary in 2013. Stephenson is also a Veteran with eleven years of Military service.
Frank Perez.
Defensive Coordinator
Biography:
Frank Perez grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona, but Idaho Falls has been home since 2007. He brings 17 years of dedicated coaching experience in football, spanning from youth to high school levels. As a passionate advocate for the sport, he discovered football was a positive outlet during his own teenage years and hopes to provide that to the youth he coaches today.
In addition to his coaching commitment, Frank has been happily married to Tanna for 25 years and takes immense pride in being the parent of five children and Papa to four grandchildren.
His coaching philosophy is grounded in fostering not only athletic skills but also character development, teamwork, and a love for the game.
Biography:
Brian lives in Idaho Falls and is a graduate of Bonneville. Brian has worked at the Idaho National Laboratory for the past 28 years and is currently working for the Idaho Environmental Coalition as the Director of Project Controls. Brian has been married to his lovely wife Lesa the past 29 years, he has 3 kids - McKenzee, Brooklyn and Ty (all Bonneville graduates) and 2 grandkids with a newborn on the way in March. Brian is going into his 8th year as a coach at Bonneville high school, having coached the freshman, JV and Varsity squads during his tenure. Brian took the 2023 season off to spend time with family and is excited to be back on the Bees sideline. Brian served as the Bonneville Grid Kid Director from 2014 to 2023 as well as coached his son Ty during his time as a grid kid player.

Biography:
Grew up in Benson, Arizona (God’s Country)... was a 3 sport athlete, played Football (DE, OT), Wrestling (189 lbs) and Baseball (1st Base). After High School served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Guatemala City North Mission, fluent in Spanish. After returning home from Guatemala, earned a football scholarship to Eastern Arizona College (EAC) where I played Tight End. At EAC I met my wife (the boss), Holly. We’ve been happily married for 24 years, blessed with 5 amazing children: Daughter Logan (20), Brock (16), Brigham (11), Judd (7) and Taysom (3).
Coaching Experience: 23 years - Benson High School, Empire (Tucson) High School, Idaho State University, Rigby High School, and Bonneville School.
Hobbies: Favorite thing to do is be with my family. We love to work, fish, camp, travel, listen to music, play pickleball, racquetball, and hang out together.
Owen Hamilton.
Football Operations Manager
Biography:
Coach Hamilton has been with the Bees since 2021 and currently acts as the teams Operations Manager.
Coach grew up in Tualatin Oregon, has lived in Denver, New Orleans, Michigan, New Zealand and has called Idaho Falls home since 2006.
He is a Vice President and Team Director for Conference Direct, a full service global meeting and event company. He enjoys spending time with his wife Gena and three children Eli, Kam and Reagan.
Coach Hamilton prides himself on building players as men and leaders. He wants each of them to know that they are seen, valued and will push them to reach their potential.

Personal: I have three siblings one older brother Brenden Tamayo and two younger brothers Dylan Tamayo and Justin Tamayo. My Parents are Joevanni and Angela Tamayo. I was born and raised in Idaho Falls, ID and spent my high school years at Bonneville high school. I played all four years of high school football at Bonneville and lettered three times at the varsity level. I graduated in 2017 and moved to McMinnville, OR to fulfill my dream to play college football at Linfield University. I got to experience what it takes to be part of a successful football program in those four years at Linfield. I moved back to Idaho Falls to be closer to family and coach. I want to give back to the community where I grew up and teach what I learned in those four years of college ball to the upcoming generations of Bonneville High School players. I believe strongly in Team, Excellence, Attitude and Class. I try to live this every day.

Personal: I am married to my beautiful wife Angie and proud to say I have four boys. Brenden, Kolby, Dylan, and Justin (JJ). I was born in Guam and raised in Maui, Hawaii. We moved to Idaho in 1997 to be closer to my wife’s family.
I served as an Assistant Director for the Bonneville Grid Kid program and coached in the Grid Kid program for over 15 years. I have also helped coach and film games for the Bonneville High School Football program. I am a Sr. Network/Security Administrator at Frontier Credit Union.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling. My favorite place to be is watching and cheering on my boys or relaxing on the beach.
Matt Todd.

Biography:
Coach Todd is returning for his 4th year coaching the running backs at Bonneville High School. Coach was an all state running back at BHS, where he graduated in 2003. He received a scholarship from Snow College, and played 2 seasons for the Badgers. Coach Todd currently live in Idaho Falls with his wife, Shelby, and 2 boys. Coach also coaches Pee Wee hockey and has done so for the past 6 seasons.
Nick Moreau.
Offensive Line
Biography:
Coach Nick Moreau is a proud Alumni of Bonneville High School. Moreau excelled playing both Defensive and Offensive line for Bonneville earning many accolades including All-Conference as well as All-State.
After graduating Coach Moreau played football for Concordia University and the University of Montana Western.
Following his time in College, he served as a Wild-land Firefighter, Engine Captain, and Incident Commander for the Bureau of Land Management for over 15 years and now works in the construction field.
Coach Moreau has coached Offensive and Defensive Line in our Bonneville Grid Kid Football program for 5 seasons and coached the Bonneville Varsity and JV Offensive Line this past season.
Nick is a passionate coach who possesses the ability to push an athlete to surpass their limits and achieve their full potential. Coach Moreau brings an excitement to each player and a desire to perform at their best for their team. His intense spirit and tenacity bring pride to his lineman who are in those trenches each game and he is excited to be back this season and continuing to build this program.
Nick and his wife Robyn have three children Jackson, Raegan, and Gracie who all love being a part of the Bonneville Football Family.

Biography:
Jeff was born and raised in Idaho Falls and is a graduate of Bonneville High School. He served a two year mission for his church in Phoenix Arizona. He later pursued a career in banking/finance where he is currently a Senior Vice President/Regional Manager for The Bank of Commerce in Idaho Falls.

Biography:
Coach Crawford began coaching and teaching in Rigby in 1999. Being involved with football, baseball, and softball. After six years as an Assistant Principal at Highland High School in Pocatello and Principal of the Donald J Hobbs Middle School in Shelley, Coach Crawford returned to coaching for Shelley High School Football being on staff from 2012-2016, with 2012 and 2013 being back-to-back state title years. In 2018 Coach Crawford was given the opportunity to coach the Varsity Defensive Line and coordinate the inside run game during Hillcrest High School’s state title run in 2018. Coach Crawford has been in education for 25 years.
Phil Beck.

Biography:
Coach Phil Beck has been a teacher for 18 years and 12 of those years have been at Bonneville High School. He has been a teacher in Special Education, Heath, and PE. He has been coaching for 16 of the 18 years. Coach Beck had the opportunity to coach with West Jefferson High School for six years and was working there as a teacher and coach the year West Jefferson won State in 2007. He came back to his roots (Bonneville) in 2012 and is proud to be a Bee. Coach Beck has worked through many positions including Freshman and JV defensive coordinator and specializing in linebackers on Varsity. One of his loves is being able to teach kids the game of football and watch them succeed through their struggle to improve.
Con Smith.

Biography:
Conlan Smith was born and raised in Idaho Falls and grew up a Bee. He played football, baseball, and basketball for Bonneville and graduated in 2015. Conlan went and played 4 years of defensive line on scholarship for the University of Montana Western in Dillon MT. He graduated with my bachelors degree in Business Administration with a minor in Small Business Management. He moved back to Idaho Falls in 2019 and attended Paul Mitchell Barber Program in Rexburg. He’s owns a barbershop in Idaho Falls. Conlan married his beautiful wife in 2022 and are having a son in May of 2024.
Conlan has a strong passion for the weight room and the defensive line.
